Inspired by a new body of work based upon mythological and fable narratives. One morning I stumbled upon a fox laid down upon blossoming grass. The fox looked so at peace upon the romantic landscape of the churchyard, confettied with cherry blossom, I felt utterly compelled to paint them. An honouring of life and the beauty that can be held in passing.
Akin to ‘The Fabulist’, this work speaks of the power of storytelling with magic realism at its essence
